Hi, it’s Emily. I just updated the “Stories” section of the site, so go over there, and you’ll see a new arrangement! Also, I am working on a project called the YWC (Young Writer’s Club) where kids who love to write post their poems and stories on the club site. Can’t wait till it’s released!

I was in my classroom and listening to my teacher talk. My friend, Vanessa, passed me a little note. As I was about to open it, it dropped on the floor and under my chair. I reached under my chair hoping I would get it but my magnetic bracelet got stuck to the bars!! I was trying to pull it off  but when I did, my whole chair flipped all the way over!!! My skirt flipped back and EVERYONE saw my rainbow polka dot underwear!! That was sooooooo embarrassing, and so not worth a note that said “are you buying lunch?”

Happy soon to be birthday, Eileen! Who told me that? A would-be writer with the initials E.Y. told me. She is part of the Writer’s Corner (hint hint) and she’s great at writing and she’s part of Fun4Kids. Enough hints to know the secret person? Don’t worry, I’ll send you a birthday greeting soon.

Hi, I don’t really have anything to do today, so I thought I’d share the story I’ve been writing to you:

The Last Dinosaur (summary)

An 11-year-old girl named Kaytee Harshman is tired of her parents’ arguing. She just wants to be happy. But then tragedy strikes. When Steve Wallaberry, her next door neighbor and “brilliant scientist” (as Mr. Wallaberry compliments himself) transports Kaytee, and his niece, Penny Wexler to the times of the dinosaur, the two sixth graders make a new friend, a T-Rex, named Abi-An. But will Penny, Kaytee, and Mr. Wallaberry be able to save the last dinosaur? Or not?

Hi, this is Emily….. I’ve been noticing that the site is getting few visits each day. The Writer’s Corner and I have been thinking about that. But… still, we’re going to make it happen. I’ve been thinking that I should create a “YWC” page. YWC means Young Writers Club. In the club, you can post your own stories and poems for everyone to see, and I think it’ll be great! Coming soon………..
