• Lonely? Don’t worry! Make new friends, it’s always good to have more friends than one!
• Late to class everyday? Well, speed it up a bit! Make a schedule.
• Are you scared about middle school? Well, don’t be! Be sure to take calm and slow breaths.
• Are you afraid your friends won’t be your friends anymore? That mainly happens in books, but it can happen, but for a reason. It’s always good to have a backup plan. Make new friends!
• Middle school is full of things that will change your life. For now, just enjoy it!

Hey everybody, it’s Emily! Hope you’re having a great summer so far, and know that school is about to start. Time flies, doesn’t it? So, to get ready for school, I wrote a story:

Celina, 11, CA
This was my first time into middle school, and I was super scared! I had just graduated from 5th grade, and now, here was 6th grade. Everything seemed pretty scary- in books, authors were always talking about enemies, and bullies, and confusion- I didn’t want that to happen to me! So then I stepped into Summerfield Middle School. Everything in the school looked normal- but I wasn’t so sure. I went to my first class, and my homeroom teacher, Ms. Sullivan, helped calm my nerves down. Middle school wasn’t that scary! So I give this advice to everybody entering 6th grade- don’t be scared, relax, and have fun! It won’t be long till you enter high school…

Hi Visitors!! Sorry that I haven’t been posting a lot this summer but I just wanted to tell you to come over the summer because we will put lots more great things here. Like cool new songs and lots of school Fake Embarrassing moments. So, keep visiting!!!
