Hello! My name is Jade. I am 10 years old and is turning 11 on August 12th. I have a little sister and an older brother.

My favorite color is blue, I love playing my flute, my favorite subjects are writing and art, and I love my pet fish.

My favorite thing in the world is color. I love all colors (except some dull life-less colors like grey). Colors make everything worth while. Colors make life bright. 

At my school I play the flute in band class. I love hearing the high pitched sound of the flute. I am pretty good and I plan to keep on learning the flute until I am an expert.

When I’m not playing in band class, I am either writing poetry in writing class or running in gym. I love writing poems and storys. I get to express myself with just paper and a pencil. I just pop an idea out of my mind and it becomes a whole different story or poem. Also when I write I like to imagine a picture of the setting. Thats when I start drawing. I draw after I write a descriptive paragraph to catch the image. I love drawing as much as I love writing. I doodle when ever I can, especially in my notebook.

I have 3 pet fish. They are all goldfish. One is Bubbles, another is Tangy, and another is Angie. Fish are kind of boreing pets but still they are very cute and delicate creatures.

I hope I have given you a pretty good summary of me. Thanks for reading!

there are two things. two very terrifying things in our world. one that sucks you in to an unreal vision.the other, is even worse people basically live their lives on it not knowing they’re just staring at a screen. these two objects is the world for our people, and soon  people will  start making even more terrifying objects that will destroy the human brain and when the human race is almost extinct techonology will be life

Hey everybody, it’s Emily! Hope you’re having a great summer so far, and know that school is about to start. Time flies, doesn’t it? So, to get ready for school, I wrote a story:

Celina, 11, CA
This was my first time into middle school, and I was super scared! I had just graduated from 5th grade, and now, here was 6th grade. Everything seemed pretty scary- in books, authors were always talking about enemies, and bullies, and confusion- I didn’t want that to happen to me! So then I stepped into Summerfield Middle School. Everything in the school looked normal- but I wasn’t so sure. I went to my first class, and my homeroom teacher, Ms. Sullivan, helped calm my nerves down. Middle school wasn’t that scary! So I give this advice to everybody entering 6th grade- don’t be scared, relax, and have fun! It won’t be long till you enter high school…

It’s about halfway through the summer, and you DON”T want it to end. You DON”T feel like brushing your hair every morning. You don’t feel like waking up early.
